KUWAIT CITY, July 8: Despite efforts exerted by the government agencies and charities to provide food baskets and meals to the thousands for the needy people, it did not stop some of the less fortunate to sift through the garbage to find anything worthwhile, reports Al- Seyassah daily.
This was the situation of the expatriates who were forced to make ends meet when the Corona pandemic closed the doors of livelihood in their faces.
The Al-Seyassah daily spotted a painful scenario in the Hawalli Governorate on the Ahmed Bin Tulun Street (Block 12) behind one of the cooperative society branches, searching for something edible – fruits or vegetables, party spoiled.
