KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: The Residency Affairs of the Ministry of Interior has set new conditions for issuing visas for expats for families to unite again. Visas will be issued only for vaccinated expats provided they have been vaccinated with approved vaccines in Kuwait • Pfizer Piontech Vaccine -two doses • AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine - two doses • Moderna vaccine - two doses • Johnson & Johnson vaccine - one dose

In its circular it stated that dependent visas will only be issued to applicants’ spouses. Children under 16 will be issued either family(dependent) visa or visit visas based on salary conditions set by the department which is KD 500. In addition Commercial visit visas, Government visas and Electronic Visas will be issued which includes Kuwait embassies abroad and for nationals of 53 countries. Visas are opened for GCC citizens who hold certain professions. 

The Public Authority for Manpower also announced the resumption of issuing of visit visas and work permits through the authority's electronic services online or through app. Visit visas on arrival will be issued in coordination with health authorities and civil aviation gradually.
