MANILA, Philippines, Nov 23, (Agencies): The Department of Education (DepEd) strongly denounced the “tragic and senseless killing” of one of its teachers and her husband in Banisilan, Cotabato, as announced on Thursday, Nov 23.
Philippine Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte expressed her condemnation, stating, “This act of violence is an attack not only on individuals but on the values of education, respect, and community.” In a heartfelt statement, she extended her sincerest condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones, standing in solidarity with them during this time of grief.
