Demolition of dilapidated house in Jleeb suspended

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: Based on an urgent request filed by Lawyer Saud Al-Barghash, the Administrative Court has decided to suspend the demolition of an old house by Kuwait Municipality in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, pending a ruling on the case. Previously, the Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality had announced plans to demolish 67 dilapidated houses in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.

The department clarified that the demolitions would be carried out in the presence of the acting Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Manal Al-Asfour. Kuwait Municipality and relevant authorities are continuing their efforts to remove violations and restore order in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
