Decision soon to streamline labour market to confront visa trade and fake companies

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 15: A decision will be issued soon concerning new conditions for the movement of expatriates within private sector, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The daily quoting Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and the State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh pointed out that the new board of directors at Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has approved some conditions to organize the labor market, which will be enforced in the coming period. She explained the conditions are intended for adjusting the labor market to confront visa trade and fake companies, and also help to reduce the rate of marginal workers.

Meanwhile, Director of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Ahmad Al-Musa disclosed that decision to reduce the registration fee of national personnel applying for jobs in private sector from KD 60 to KD 10 is already enforced, adding the fee for the renewal of application is also KD 10
