Deadline for submitting bids for causeway is now Sept 22

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: The Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) extended the deadline for submitting bids for the management, operation and maintenance of Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway until Sept 22, instead of Aug 25. This tender aims to guarantee the management, operation and maintenance of the bridge and its associated facilities and infrastructure. This includes providing the necessary materials, equipment, labor, and technical and specialized personnel to execute the work according to the terms and specifications outlined in the contract.

The work includes the execution of temporary, additional, supplementary and modification works that are required for operation and maintenance, as well as the operation and maintenance of the buildings and facilities, including the truck weighing stations, visitor center and other facilities associated with the causeway. The ministry will review the submitted bids and then present its recommendation regarding the bid that meets the requirements, paving the way for the settlement of the tender.
