KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: The Minister of Interior, Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, issued a decision from a humanitarian point of view to extend the period to amend residence status from February 1 to March 2.
The decision came within the framework of making it easier for violators of the residency law in view of exceptional circumstances the country is going through due to spread of the Coronavirus, disruption of air traffic, suspension and reduction of business in many sectors and the closure of the Public Authority for Manpower for two weeks.
Residence violators who don't amend their status will be subjected to penalties. He/she will not be allowed to enter and will be deported
