KUWAIT CITY, May 31: Qadsia volleyball veteran Nasser Dashti has brought down the curtain on his long career with the club’s first team, ending a 30-year association with the Yellow Castle marked by consistent achievements and contributions at both domestic and regional levels.

Dashti said his ties with Qadsia remain strong despite stepping away from the playing squad, confirming his intention to continue his sporting career and explore a new challenge with another club in the near future.

“After 30 years with Qadsia volleyball, I will study the offers presented to me and look forward to a new experience with a different team,” he said.

Considered one of the club’s most notable volleyball figures, Dashti played a key role in several of Qadsia’s successes over the years, leaving a clear imprint on the team’s history and the sport in Kuwait.

His next move is expected to be decided soon, as he remains keen to continue competing and benefit from the vast experience he has accumulated over three decades in the game.

Meanwhile, Qadsia has been undergoing a phase of renewal. Mohammed Al-Damkhi has been appointed as director of the volleyball section, replacing Ismail Dashti, who has also stepped down from his administrative role.

Ismail Dashti wished the new management, technical staff, and players success for the upcoming season.
