KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: The Criminal Court adjourned to January 10 the case filed against a Kuwaiti citizen who is accused of killing his wife in Qairawan, dismembering her body, and dumping her body parts in garbage containers in different areas.

According to a report submitted by a Kuwaiti woman to the security authorities, her sister had been missing for more than seven months since October last year. She did not know her whereabouts and feared that something bad happened to her, especially since she failed to attend the weddings of two of her children during this period. Her sister has been separated from her husband (the father of her children) for a long time, and lives alone.

However, she is secretly married to a Kuwaiti, and no one knows this secret except her (the informant). When the secret husband was interrogated, he denied being involved in her disappearance. However, the investigators were not convinced by his words as he seemed nervous and confused. They examined his phone and discovered that his last call to the missing woman was actually in October last year. The detectives tightened their grip on him.

Eventually he confessed to killing her, cutting her body into twenty parts, and dumping them in several garbage containers in various governorates. He had also disposed off her phone and personal clothes. However, during the court session, he denied the charges leveled against him.
