Dakota Johnson.

LOS ANGELES, Feb 8, (Agencies): Dakota Johnson is not entertained by discussions about the "nepo baby" phenomenon. The 34-year-old actress expressed her disdain for conversations revolving around celebrities born into fame or influenced by parents in the entertainment industry. During her appearance on the Today show on Wednesday, Johnson referred to such discussions as "incredibly annoying and boring."

Responding to host Hoda Kotb's question about her own celebrity status, given her parents are actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, Johnson urged journalists to focus on more meaningful topics. "Like, if you’re a journalist, write about something else," she asserted, emphasizing her frustration with the persistent narrative. "That’s just like, lame. So the opportunity to make fun of it, I jumped at," she added.

Amid her recent promotional activities for the movie Madame Web, Johnson took a humorous approach to address her celebrity lineage during her hosting stint on Saturday Night Live. In a video segment with Please Don't Destroy, a group including comedians John Higgins and Martin Herlihy (sons of SNL producer Steve Higgins and former head writer Tim Herlihy, respectively), they humorously declared a "nepo truce" while playfully roasting each other, showcasing Johnson's willingness to poke fun at her own celebrity background.
