Cyber risk hits Kuwait home cameras

KUWAIT CITY, June 30: The Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) emphasized on its X account the importance of regularly checking home security cameras and updating their passwords to mitigate the risk of cyberattacks, reports Al-Seyassah daily. CITRA highlighted that hackers are exploiting new security vulnerabilities to compromise cameras and use them for unethical purposes. It stressed the importance of adhering to security measures and keeping devices updated.
