Customs Officials Foil Attempt to Smuggle 10 Kg of Kratom Disguised as Asian Cosmetics

KUWAIT CITY, March 27: Officials from the customs department have successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle 10 kilograms of kratom into the country through air freight. According to a press statement released today, a customs inspector became suspicious of a postal parcel arriving from an Asian country, which was labeled as “cosmetics” to deceive authorities. Upon closer inspection, the inspector found 10 kilograms of kratom hidden inside the parcel. The seized narcotics were then handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
