KUWAIT CITY, March 5: Customs officers at Kuwait International Airport arrested a Nepalese man for the possession of one kilo of marijuana which he tried to smuggle from his country into Kuwait. The officers got suspicious as the Nepalese looked agitated when he approached the luggage inspection counter. They checked his luggage thoroughly, leading to the discovery of the contraband. The suspect was referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.

Police officers from Ahmadi Security Command arrested a citizen wanted by law for involvement in various cases including theft and drugs. At a security checkpoint in Ahmadi, the officers stopped the citizen, who appeared intoxicated, in order to check his identification documents. The officers then discovered that he is wanted by law so he was arrested. The officers searched the citizen’s car where they found 60 narcotic pills, drug paraphernalia, knives and a baton. He was referred to the concerned security unit for legal action.
