Customs Chief Inspects Abdali Border Crossing After Drone Attack

KUWAIT CITY, July 23: Director General of Customs Yousef Khaled Al-Nuwaif visited the Abdali border crossing on Thursday following the hostile drone attack that damaged the facility.

Accompanied by Deputy Director General for Ports, Search and Customs Investigation Saleh Mohammed Al-Omar, Al-Nuwaif inspected the damage at the Abdali Customs Center and received a briefing from field officials on the impact of the attack and the measures taken in response.

He praised customs personnel for continuing to perform their duties and ensuring the smooth flow of operations despite the exceptional circumstances.

Al-Nuwaif also stressed that the General Administration of Customs remains fully operational at all border ports and is taking the necessary measures, in coordination with relevant authorities, to maintain port security and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of customs services.
