KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: For the year 2021, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has said only the attendance of employees will be looked into to assess work performance instead of calculating delay periods, reports Al-Qabas daily. In a circular issued by the CSC, the sources indicated that, given that it was not possible to calculate the time of late comers for a large part of the current evaluation year (2021), due to the suspension of the fingerprint system, government agencies must approve the employee’s commitment to the attendance.

This happened following the issuance of a circular to evaluate the performance of employees for the current year only, while continuing to apply the rules, provisions, procedures and other performance evaluation factors in accordance with the legal decision. Meanwhile, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the registration periods for job seekers in the central employment system for the year 2022, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to the CSC, there will be four registration periods throughout the next year as follows: Feb 25 to March 11, June 24 to July 8, Sept 2-16, and Dec 16-30. The CSC indicated that registration is done through its website, where the registration steps are explained.attendance to evaluate performance
