KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: The Kuwait Football Association’s Competitions Department has confirmed the schedule for the playoff matches of this season’s Crown Prince Cup. Al-Shamiya will take on Sporty on November 21 at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium, with the winner advancing to face Al-Jazeera on November 27 to decide which team qualifies for the tournament’s preliminary round.
This season marks the first time the Crown Prince Cup is being held under this playoff format, following approval from participating clubs.
Additionally, Al-Jazeera, Al-Shamiya, and Sporty are competing in the Zain First Division League for the first time in their history.
