Crowds Flock to Mosques Across Kuwait for Eid Al-Adha Prayers

KUWAIT CITY, May 27: Thousands of worshippers across Kuwait gathered at mosques and prayer grounds early Wednesday to perform Eid Al-Adha prayers in an atmosphere filled with faith, spirituality, and joy.

Men, women, and children flocked to mosques at dawn as the country marked one of Islam’s holiest occasions with prayers for peace, prosperity, and unity.

Worshippers also prayed for the continued well-being and protection of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and for the blessings of security and stability to endure across the nation. Special prayers were offered for mercy upon Kuwait’s martyrs and for the safety and steadfastness of the country’s armed forces.

The scenes of celebration and devotion reflected the spirit of Eid Al-Adha and highlighted the unity, social cohesion, and deep-rooted religious and national values cherished by Kuwait society.
