RIYADH, March 4: Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, captain and forward of Al-Nassr, continues training with his team ahead of its upcoming Saudi Pro League match against Neom, dismissing European media reports claiming he had left the country.

Al-Nassr’s official social media shared photos of Ronaldo in training, confirming the star is actively preparing with the league leaderfor Saturday’s clash.

In recent days, several European outlets suggested that Ronaldo had departed Saudi Arabia on his private jet due to regional tensions. Portuguese newspaper Record reported that his plane left Riyadh following the latest strike on the U.S. embassy. The Daily Mail asked, “Did Ronaldo flee Saudi Arabia?” while Marca (U.S. edition) claimed he had made a “sudden trip from Riyadh to Madrid amid escalating Middle East tensions.”

Ronaldo’s presence on the training ground proves these reports are false, reaffirming his commitment to Al-Nassr during this critical stage of the season.

Currently, Al-Nassr tops the Saudi Pro League standings with 61 points, two ahead of Al-Ahli and three ahead of Al-Hilal, as the race for the title enters its final stages.
