The Criminal Court has set Dec 5, 2023, to issue a verdict in the main case of leaking high school exams, in which 12 people are accused, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The court rejected the defense's requests to release a school principal and another ministry employee who stand accused in the case.

This ruling comes days after a verdict was issued in one of the cases of leaking high school exam papers when the Criminal Court found a Kuwaiti citizen and a Syrian guilty and sentenced them to 10 years imprisonment with hard labor and fined them 482,000 dinars.

The Public Prosecution had referred three cases to the Criminal Court, in which dozens of people are charged with ‘leaking test papers, forgery, and money laundering,” and there are still cases pending.
