‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star Henry Golding and wife Liv Lo celebrate the arrival of their second child

LOS ANGELES, Oct 11, (Agencies): Henry Golding has embraced fatherhood once more! The 36-year-old star of “Crazy Rich Asians” and his wife, Liv Lo, celebrated the arrival of their second child, a daughter they named Florence Likan Golding, born on September 9th.

In a shared Instagram video, the couple expressed their heartfelt sentiments, noting the rollercoaster of emotions that accompanies the journey of childbirth. They wrote, “The journey of childbirth is full of its ups and downs, but glorious nonetheless. This is our birth story.”

Liv Lo offered additional insights into the birth experience on her FitSphere website, sharing that she went into labor a day after her due date, primarily due to heavy bleeding. While she initially hoped for a natural birth, unexpected complications arose when Liv developed a fever, and the baby’s health became a concern. This led the medical team to prepare for an emergency C-section. Astonishingly, Liv’s labor progressed quickly, reaching full dilation at 10 centimeters before they could reach the operating room.

Describing the momentous event, Liv recalled, “My doctor came in and said, luckily, that I had the option to push, but the baby would have to be born right away.” With determination, Liv welcomed her daughter into the world with just three pushes. Florence Likan Golding was born at 7 pounds, arriving at 9:03 am on 9/9/23.
