Cracking Down on Offenders: 36 Expats Arrested in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to arrest violators and outlaws, arrested 36 expats of the residency and work law violation of various nationalities in Farwaniya Governorate. Additionally, 15 for selling locally distilled alcohol in the Mina Abdullah area were arrested, with 8 of them having consumed alcohol. They were referred to the competent authority to take the necessary legal measures against them.

It is worth noting that Kuwait has been cracking down on residency violations and deporting violators of the residency law. The Ministry of Interior has been apprehending expats who have infringed upon various aspects of the residence and work law. In some cases, the authorities have arrested and deported violators of the residency law of different nationalities
