KUWAIT CITY, June 13: Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and Acting Minister of Defense, reiterated the relentless efforts of security personnel in safeguarding society from the menace of drug abuse. Emphasizing the importance of collective action, he called for unified endeavors to eradicate drug dealers and promoters.
The Ministry of Interior recently reported the apprehension of 9 individuals suspected of drug-related activities. The authorities successfully confiscated approximately 6.5 kilograms of narcotics and 2400 tablets of psychotropic substances.
