KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1:  In their continuing campaign against vice, officers from Farwaniya security directorate pursued outlaws based upon directives from Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali and Farwaniya Security Chief Major General Fahad Al-Shuwai. Security operatives from the Farwaniya security directorate arrested a Yemeni national for his involvement in several criminal cases.

The officers discovered a case had been filed against him Rehab police station while checking his details at a checkpoint. He was referred to concerned authorities for necessary action.

Meanwhile, security operatives apprehended an Iranian expatriate in Ardiya area for defaulting debts estimated at KD 4,000. He was referred to the sentences execution department. In another story, officers in routine patrol in Riggae area recovered a stolen Japanesemade vehicle at a parking lot in Andalous area. A case was registered.

Capital securitymen led by its chief Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah arrested an Egyptian expatriate in his late 20s for evading five years jail sentence in a financial case. He was referred to concerned authorities.

‘Stuntmen’ nabbed: The Jahra police have arrested a group of motorists for endangering the lives of motorists and pedestrians in Sa’ad Al- Abdullah, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the group performing stunts in the area was led by a military man working for the National Guard. Police have also arrested the owner of a garage in Amghara for repairing cars of the reckless motorists.

Trio held with drugs: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested three youths — two Kuwaitis and a Syrian — for possessing and consuming drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. The trio was arrested on suspicion. Police have seized from them sachets of shabu and a quantity of narcotic pills. At the time of arrest they were disoriented.
