KUWAIT CITY, April 17: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, under directives from Osama Al-Budai, carried out an inspection campaign targeting vehicle repair garages in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, uncovering multiple violations.

The Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department reported issuing 46 violation notices for a range of infractions. These included failure to display mandatory warranty schedules and conducting vehicle repairs without authorization from the General Traffic Department.

During the campaign, authorities also ordered the immediate closure of a warehouse found to be selling used tires in violation of regulations. Legal action has been initiated against those responsible.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing regulations, protecting consumer rights, and ensuring compliance across Kuwait’s commercial sectors.
