KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: The Farwaniya police have arrested an expatriate drug dealer with 57 bags of crystal meth and heroin during a planned operation in the Khaitan area.

As per information provided by a security source to Al-Anba, the Director of Farwaniya Investigations received confidential intel about an individual engaged in narcotics trade in the Khaitan locality.

Acting on this information, he directed his team to monitor and verify the details. Following several days of surveillance and investigation, it was confirmed that the drug dealer, in his thirties, was an expatriate. A covert source was employed, an agreement was reached to purchase a quantity of narcotics, and during the exchange near a café in the Khaitan area, the location was raided. The suspect was arrested with 57 bags containing heroin and crystal meth.

In the subsequent interrogation, the suspect confessed to his involvement in the narcotics trade for an extended period, sourcing the substances from an unknown supplier. Consequently, both the suspect and the seized narcotics were handed over to the Public Prosecution.

Meanwhile, under the supervision of Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Mutairi, the Director General of Ahmadi Security, Operations Support Patrol officers initiated a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in the Wafra and Al-Julaiah areas.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals wanted for various offenses and violations of residency laws, belonging to different Asian and Arab nationalities.

Additionally, 10 vehicles were seized for reckless driving and noise disturbances from exhaust systems, with the drivers referred to the traffic detention garage. The campaign also identified 13 remaining violations and issued 32 traffic citations.
