KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: An expatriate doctor filed a complaint against a Kuwaiti citizen, alleging public verbal abuse and unauthorized use of his phone.
Lawyer Bader Al-Dalak's defense plea swayed the court, claiming the accusations were fabricated and malicious, with no evidence of slander or defamation elements. Al-Dalak further argued the absence of required publicity for punishment, delayed reporting by the complainant, lack of criminal intent, and inconsistencies between the doctor's statements and witness testimony.
