KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The Court of Appeal ruled that a Moroccan wife married to a Kuwaiti citizen must return the dowry of $20,000, forfeit all her rights, and pay 2,000 dinars in legal fees.
The case unfolded when the Kuwaiti husband, who had married her outside Kuwait with a dowry of $20,000 and brought her to Kuwait, uncovered his wife’s involvement in prostitution. This discovery came to light when he found a secret phone she used for this illicit purpose.
