Court of Appeal grants bail to former MP Abdullah Fahad

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 22: The Court of Appeal has ordered the release of former MP Abdullah Fahad on a bail of 1,000 dinars, adjourning the case for a ruling on October 13.

Previously, the Criminal Court sentenced Fahad to six months in prison with hard labor for allegedly insulting the judiciary during a televised press interview. Additionally, he was fined 500 dinars in connection with the case.
