Court acquits expat salesman who was accused of breach of trust by employer

KUWAIT CITY, June 9: The Misdemeanor Court has acquitted an expatriate who was accused of breach of trust by his employer. According to the case file, the expat, who worked as a salesman, was accused of selling textile of one of the major companies without issuing invoice, and subsequently pocketing the money. Representing him was Lawyer Muhammad Al-Husseini who said his client always deposited daily sales amounts into his employer’s account, and that he did not have access to the store and the keys to the place where the textile is stored. He indicated that the employer did not even know the name of the employee, and that he did not provide any circumstantial or substantial evidences to back his claims of being cheated.
