KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: The cost of adding housewives to the beneficiaries of the health insurance for retirees (Afiya) totaled KD33.76 million, reports Al- Al-Anba Daily quoting sources. Sources revealed that the Ministry of Health asked the concerned authorities to make a change order in the health insurance contract for retirees (Afiya), adding KD33.76 million for eight and a half months. Sources confirmed the regulatory authorities have approved the change order to add the aforementioned amount to the ‘Afiya’ contract covering the period from Jan 1 until September 15, 2024.
