KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: Ahmadi securitymen recovered a Lexus which was reported stolen at Taima Police Station in Jahra. While patrolling in Mahboula, the officers noticed the vehicle parked near a house. They checked the vehicle’s records through its plate number and this led to the discovery that it was reported stolen earlier.
They immediately lifted fingerprints to identify the thief. A case was registered and investigations are in progress to arrest the culprit. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti representative of Al-Salam Cooperative Society has informed the concerned authorities that some cosmetics were stolen from the cooperative.
When the officers checked the surveillance cameras in the cooperative, they saw a young Kuwaiti woman, in her 20s, stealing the items. This led to the arrest of the thief who was referred to the relevant security department for questioning and other legal measures. And, Ahmadi police have arrested a Kuwaiti for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Rai daily.
