Corruption case comes to surface on courts final verdict

KUWAIT CITY, July 7: A new case of corruption has surfaced at the Ministry of Interior involving personnel from the Sentences Enforcement Department who often sweep under the carpet final verdicts issued by the courts against some companies in exchange for large sums of money, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Informed sources told the daily, the Interior Ministry, after receiving what it called concrete information about dozens of cases, has opened an extensive investigation into the issue prior to initiating legal action
