KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2, (Agencies): Hours after a Jordanian inmate of correctional institutions escaped from Farwaniya Hospital, detectives were able to arrest her in the Salmiya area where she was seen wearing an abaya and niqab to escape from the eyes of the security officers.

According to security sources, the detectives were able to determine her location following a security alert in Farwaniya Governorate and all the governorates to find her. They were eventually able to arrest her in Salmiya, even though she was wearing an abaya and niqab in an attempt to escape from the eyes of the officers until she could find a way to escape from the country. Necessary legal measures are being taken regarding the matter.

The senior leadership of the Ministry of Interior directly followed the search for the wanted person, as all sectors of the ministry participated in searching for her and seizing her in record time.

In a related context, the Security Media Department announced that the Ministry of Interior, in addition to the previous statement it issued regarding the escape of an inmate in correctional institutions while she was in a hospital receiving treatment, reported that immediately after receiving the initial report, an intensive search led to the arrest of the escapee. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled formed a committee to launch an immediate investigation into the escape of the inmate from correctional institutions while she was in a hospital receiving treatment.
