KUWAIT CITY, May 31: Father Bigoul Anba Bishoy, senior priest and patron of the St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Kuwait, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al- Hamad Al-Sabah (May God protect him) on the second anniversary of his appointment as Crown Prince of Kuwait, praying that God grant him success in serving Kuwait. In a press release, Father Bigoul conveyed to His Highness the Crown Prince the congratulations of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark in Egypt and all the lands of the diaspora.
Father Bigoul also conveyed the congratulations of His Grace Bishop Antonios, Metropolitan of Jerusalem, Kuwait, and the Near East, along with their wishes for continued success and prosperity for His Highness the Crown Prince, and for the State of Kuwait to continue its blessed journey of progress and development. He stated that this occasion represents a milestone of appreciation for the distinguished national service associated with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, given his sincere dedication in various positions of responsibility, and his renowned wisdom, composure, and sound political and diplomatic experience. Father Bigoul stressed that His Highness the Crown Prince embodies the ideal image of a statesman, combining calm leadership with profound vision, and demonstrating a deep commitment to responsibility and a keen interest in the national interest.
He affirmed that the State of Kuwait, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah (May God protect him), and with the support of His Highness the Crown Prince (May God protect him), is steadily progressing in consolidating the foundations of stability and strengthening the path of reform and development. Father Bigoul pointed out that Kuwait is distinguished by its people’s unity around their leadership and their adherence to the values of patriotism, which enhances Kuwait’s ability to face challenges. He emphasized that the relationship between the leadership and the people will remain one of the most important secrets of Kuwait’s stability. Father Bigoul concluded his statement with a prayer that God protect the State of Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, bless the steps of His Highness the Crown Prince, and grant him success in all that is good for the country, its advancement, and its progress.
