WASHINGTON, Oct 14, (Agencies): Occasionally, even bears have a hankering for an Italian feast! In Barkhamsted, Connecticut, an unexpected guest made a culinary adventure when a black bear broke into a local residence. The intruder ransacked the house but stumbled upon a delightful surprise - a platter of frozen lasagna.

Homeowner Helena Richardson's Ring security camera was on hand to capture the unusual break-in. The footage reveals the bear's 35-minute exploration, during which it breached a screen door, ventured into the kitchen and eventually made its escape through a kitchen window.

The adventure began in the house's foyer, where the bear was first spotted. It then made a beeline for the kitchen, with its sights set on the refrigerator. Upon reaching the fridge, the bear displayed remarkable dexterity by standing on its hind legs, opening the freezer drawer, and skillfully snagging the frozen lasagna with its mouth.

After securing its prize, the bear left the freezer drawer ajar and perched itself atop the freezer door, reaching for the open window. In the end, the bear managed to make a daring escape through the kitchen window and hopped onto the outdoor deck, carrying the coveted lasagna as it sauntered away into the night.

It seems that this black bear had quite the craving for a taste of Italy and didn't let a few obstacles deter it from enjoying a stolen Italian delight.
