KUWAIT CITY, May 21: “On behalf of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; I extend my deepest condolences to the leadership, government, and the brotherly Iranian people on the great loss of the Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Hussein Amir Abdullahian in the painful accident,” says Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah.

He added: “We implore Almighty Allah to cover them with His vast mercy and to inspire their families with patience and solace. We pray for the brotherly neighbor to overcome this painful incident and to bless the Islamic Republic of Iran with security and stability.” Kuwait’s Foreign Affairs Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya expressed condolences during the reception of the Iranian Embassy mourning the death of the Iranian President, Foreign Affairs Minister and a number of their companions.

“It is with great sorrow and sadness that we received the news of their death. I express my sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government and people of the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran, to the families of the deceased, and to the friendly Iranian people. I pray that Almighty Allah cover them with His vast mercy, make them dwell in His spacious gardens and to inspire their families with beautiful patience and solace,” he stated. Meanwhile, Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Totonji praised the Arab, regional and international communities.

“We thank countries all over the world, especially the neighboring countries, for their sympathy over the great loss and plight that befell the Islamic Republic. It was a touch of the wounds and pain to which the Iranian people were exposed. This sympathy expressed by people and countries is the result of the late president’s tireless efforts to strengthen relations with all countries. Without a doubt, this approach and this policy will continue in the new era.” He stressed that the government of the late president witnessed the strengthening and consolidation of relations with other countries, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

He pointed out that the martyr is a defender and supporter of Palestine and the people of Gaza against the usurping Zionist entity, stressing his martyrdom is a great loss for the Iranian people and the glorious Islamic nation. Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Nasser expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its government and its friendly people. He asked Almighty Allah to cover them with His vast mercy and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace.

Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Ambassador of Tajikistan Zabidullah Zabidov asserted: “The sad news hurt us and all the people of Tajikistan. We are deeply sorry.” He affirmed that the late Ibrahim Raisi played an important role in expanding and deepening the friendly relations and cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran. He added: “I offer my sincere condolences and sympathy to the Iranian people and the families of the martyrs in this great tragedy.” Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Saad Al-Saud, in his name and on behalf of the members of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extended sincere condolences to the ambassador and members of the delegation of the Iranian Republic in Kuwait and the Iranian people. Omani Ambassador Dr. Saleh Al- Kharusi expressed his deep condolences and sympathy to the Iranian leadership, government and people, wishing them patience and solace. Qatari Ambassador Ali bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud expressed his sincere condolences and described the accident as a “huge tragedy.”

He expressed his deepest condolences to the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran, asking Almighty Allah to cover them with His vast mercy. Chinese Ambassador Zhang Jianwei said: “I express my deep condolences to the families of the deceased, the government and people of Iran. After assuming office, President Raisi exerted tremendous efforts to strengthen and develop the comprehensive strategic partnership between Iran and China. His unfortunate death is a huge loss for the Iranians. The Chinese people have lost a dear friend.” He expressed China’s pride in the traditional friendship between China and Iran, believing that through the coordinated efforts of the two sides, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Iran will continue to advance. Amira Al-Hassan, Head of the Office of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries stated: “With deep sorrow, we received the news on the martyrdom of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, his Foreign Affairs Minister and the accompanying delegation.

In my name and on behalf of the members of UN-Habitat, I extend my sincere condolences to the Iranian people and the families of the martyrs in this great affliction, praying to Allah the Almighty to cover them with His vast mercy.” Peru’s Ambassador to Kuwait Carlos Manuel described the incident as tragic, which claimed the lives of the president and his foreign minister who is considered a man of peace in the Middle East and he resolved issues peacefully, expressing his deep sorrow on his behalf and on behalf of his country’s embassy in Kuwait. South African Ambassador Manelisi Genge offered his deepest condolences to the Iranian people and the families of the victims. He wished for patience and solace for the families of the victims and peace and security for Iran and its people. Azerbaijani Ambassador Emil Karimov said: “We extend our deepest condolences to the Republic of Iran.” He described the incident as sad as the deceased, the delegation and those accompanying him met with his Azerbaijani counterpart before the accident. They had an important meeting and successful talks took place between them. I wish mercy for the deceased and to grant their families patience and solace.”
