‘Comply with safety, security measures’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: The Firefighting General Department has called on owners of spring camps to strictly comply with safety and security procedures when setting up camps in order to protect lives and properties, indicating it regularly issues flash advisories explaining these procedures, reports Al-Rai daily.

Speaking to the daily, Director of Public Relations General Department Brigadier Khalil Al-Ameer confirmed the issuance of flash advisories on television to clarify camping procedures as the start of winter also ushers in the camping season.

He disclosed these advisories include avoiding high pressure electricity towers (not less than 100 meters) and the space between two camping sites should not be less than six meters with two emergency exits.
