TEHRAN, Apr 25: Commercial flights resumed Saturday at Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran for the first time since Iran's war with the United States and Israel began approximately two months ago.
Iran's state-run television reported that the airport is now operating flights to Istanbul in Turkey, Muscat in Oman, and the Saudi city of Medina.
Flightradar24, a flight tracking platform, showed at least three Istanbul-bound flights departing Saturday morning.
The resumption comes after Iran partly reopened its airspace earlier this month during a ceasefire with the United States.
