KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, has launched a campaign to close several pharmacies across multiple governorates after they continued operating despite having their licenses revoked.

Sources stated that the closures were aimed at enforcing pharmacy regulations and protecting consumer rights. The action specifically targeted establishments that failed to cease operations following license revocation. Officials emphasized that the move is part of the Ministry of Commerce’s ongoing efforts to monitor the market, ensure the safety of healthcare services for citizens and residents, and maintain close coordination with relevant authorities to prevent future violations.
