Coffee shops to suspend operations in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 28: The municipality will issue a decision to close the coffee shops and prevent it from operating in a step to restrict gathering and congestion.

Sources stated that other decisions will be issued by the government to restrict leaving the houses except in cases of necessity.

The municipality director, Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfuhi, issued a decision to prevent children from entering the supermarkets and food stores.
Al-Manfuhi called the all markets to measure the temperature of all workers, supervisors and managers of those markets and stores.

Earlier, the Al-Shaya group, which owns Starbucks branches in Kuwait, announced that it had decided to suspend and close its branches in prevailing coronavirus crisis in order to to reduce congestion and physical contact which would combat the outbreak of the coronavirus reports Al Qabas.
