Co-worker beaten – ‘Lost my cool’

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: An Egyptian who was injured in the head during a fight with his Indian co-worker employed by a restaurant has filed a complaint with the Fintas Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily.

During interrogation the Indian admitted to the charge and said he lost his cool because the Egyptian was drinking tea all the time and not serving the customers.

Meanwhile, the Ahmadi police have arrested a Kuwaiti who was wanted by law and had been sentenced in absentia in connection with a financial fraud worth KD 55,000, reports Al-Qabas daily. The man was picked while driving along a street in Fintas.

He reportedly tried in vain to escape but was chased and arrested. He has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department. In another incident, a Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Qairawan Police Station accusing two unidentified persons of assaulting him causing him severe injuries, reports Al-Anba daily.

The citizen has submitted a medical report showing fracture in his right leg. Police are looking for the suspects. And, the Farwaniya police acting on information rushed to Khaitan and arrested three Egyptians for fighting over a domestic problem, reports Al-Rai daily. The men have been referred for interrogation.
