KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: Meteorologist Issa Ramadan has forecast a week dominated by cloudy conditions and intermittent rainfall, warning that some showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms at times. He noted that weather conditions during the week could also lead to reduced visibility, the formation of fog in certain areas, and a noticeable drop in temperatures, with daytime highs expected to fall below 20 degrees Celsius on most days.
According to Ramadan, the likelihood of rainfall is expected to increase on Monday, as cloud cover continues to dominate the skies through the end of the week. He added that rain chances are set to intensify further from Wednesday evening through Friday morning, a period that may witness more widespread and persistent precipitation.
Ramadan explained that fluctuations in the timing and intensity of rainfall remain possible, depending on upper atmospheric conditions such as the concentration of water vapor and variations in temperature at higher levels of the atmosphere. These factors, he said, play a significant role in shaping local weather patterns.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department reported that Sunday’s weather is expected to be mild, ranging from partly cloudy to overcast, with northeasterly to variable winds blowing at light to moderate speeds of 8 to 32 kilometers per hour. There is also a chance of light, scattered rain at times during the day.
Nighttime conditions are forecast to turn cool to cold, with skies remaining partly cloudy to cloudy. Winds will continue to be northeasterly to variable, at speeds ranging between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 21 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is forecast to drop to approximately 12 degrees Celsius.
