KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: Meteorologist Issa Ramadan has forecast gradual weather changes across Kuwait in the coming days, noting that stable conditions will persist until Monday before cloud cover begins to increase and chances of rainfall emerge.
In a post on the “X” platform, Ramadan explained that the country is currently experiencing light northwesterly winds that are shifting toward moderate levels. By Tuesday, these winds are expected to change to variable directions, creating favorable conditions for cloud formation. As a result, the weather is anticipated to turn partly cloudy through the end of the week, accompanied by the possibility of occasional light rain showers.
He further noted that the likelihood of Kuwait receiving its typical winter rains is rising ahead of December 10, supported by improving weather indicators and the movement of rain-bearing clouds toward the region.
Ramadan also highlighted the growing impact of global climate change this season, pointing out that some regions are witnessing delayed rainfall and colder temperatures, while others are facing intense cold waves. He added that a strong cold front and heavy snowfall are currently affecting large parts of Europe, with Paris experiencing unusually early snowfall for this time of year.
