KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: The Cybercrime Department of the Ministry of Interior has warned members of the community against photographing and defaming others without their knowledge, in order to avoid falling foul with the law, reports Al-Jarida daily. The department stated in an awareness tweet that “the law punishes anyone who deliberately abuses and defames others, by photographing them without their knowledge and consent, and then publishing it through various media means.

In another , unrelated development , the Environment Public Authority (EPA) affirmed its keenness to monitor the quality of Kuwaiti water, in cooperation with various State authorities; indicating that the circulating video clip showing marine pollution and marine life in one of the sites inside Kuwait Bay is old, dating back to 2018, reports Al- Jarida daily.
