Cleaning workers and guards suffer due to delayed payments to the companies

KUWAIT CITY, June 29: Although government agencies are at the core of their responsibilities in terms of solving the problems of migrant workers – especially in light of the current crisis that the country is experiencing as a result of the corona epidemic; these ministries delayed payments to companies which have signed contracts with them, particularly the companies providing cleaning workers and guards.

Sources revealed thousands of cleaning workers and guards are registered under the above mentioned companies and the government ministries delayed settlement of dues for these companies led to late payment of salaries, while some companies even stopped paying the salaries of their workers.
