Classes Suspended in All Schools in Kuwait on Thursday Due to Weather Conditions

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: In line with its firm commitment to safeguarding the well-being of students and ensuring a safe educational environment, the Ministry of Education has announced the suspension of classes tomorrow, Thursday, December 11, 2025. The decision applies to all government schools across all educational levels, including general education, religious education, and special education, as well as to all private schools offering Arabic and foreign curricula.

The directive was issued under the leadership of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Engineer Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai, following a review of reports issued by the Meteorological Department forecasting expected rainfall and weather conditions that could pose risks to students and staff.

In an official statement, the Ministry confirmed that all practical examinations scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed. School administrations have been instructed to reschedule these exams at later dates, taking into consideration the best interests of students and ensuring the orderly continuation of the educational process without disruption.

The Ministry stressed that the safety of students, teachers, administrators, and all personnel working in the education sector remains its highest priority. It also urged parents, students, and school staff to regularly follow the Ministry’s official communication channels and social media accounts for further updates or instructions as the situation develops.
