KUWAIT CITY, Jun 8: Kuwait Municipality has launched a comprehensive field inspection campaign across all six governorates to verify the validity of health licenses for commercial establishments and ensure compliance with advertising regulations.
According to officials, the campaign aims to preserve the civilized appearance of urban areas and remove illegal advertisements that distort the visual identity of cities and commercial districts. Inspection teams have been deployed to monitor shops and commercial complexes and take regulatory action against violations.
In Farwaniya Governorate, Talal Al-Azmi, Director of the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department, said the initial phase of the campaign resulted in three violations related to shop and advertising regulations, along with seven warnings issued after inspections of 27 shops in the area.
He added that all necessary legal measures were taken against violators, and stressed that the municipality will continue field inspections in the coming weeks across all governorates according to a scheduled plan prepared in coordination with relevant departments.
The municipality reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing regulations and ensuring compliance to maintain public order and enhance the aesthetic standards of commercial areas throughout Kuwait.
