Civil Service Commission sets a January 31st deadline for terminating expertise use in Education Ministries.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: In an official communication, the Civil Service Commission has notified the Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, about the termination of the utilization of expertise for all individuals under their employment. According to the commission, the last day of service for these individuals will be on the 31st of this month.

The communication, conveyed through a formal letter, referred to Decree No. (1) of 2024, which established the Ministry. The letter directed the ministers to take necessary actions based on the decree. It stated, "Concerning Decree No. (1) of 2024 forming the Ministry, Your Excellency is kindly requested to instruct those necessary to work on the following: Ending the use of the expertise of all whose expertise is sought, whether retirees or non-retirees whose expertise is sought outside official working hours in their original workplaces by His Excellency the former Minister working in the entities affiliated with Your Excellency. The end date for seeking assistance from the expertise of those included in the previous item shall not exceed the date of 1/31/2024."

This directive marks a significant change in the employment status of these personnel, emphasizing the cessation of their expertise utilization in the specified capacities by the outlined date.
