Cigarette prices witness decline

KUWAIT CITY, May 21: Prices of cigarettes in the local market witnessed a steep decline recently – about 28 to 33 percent decrease for some of the most popular brands, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources from the tobacco trade sector. Sources disclosed the electronic alternatives have started to ignite competition locally, especially with the spread of singleuse devices whose prices are almost the same as the traditional cigarettes.
