KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: Personnel from the Criminal Security Sector have taken into custody an unidentified expatriate for selling narcotic substances to young men and juveniles.
The daily said the suspect was taken into custody in the Ahmadi Governorate, during an ambush set by police for him in Wafra area and caught him in possession of 43 sachets of the narcotic meth.
The security authorities said prior to the arrest CID men put the trafficker under surveillance for a long time and then after confirming his activity arrested him.
During interrogation he told police he was selling the drugs cheap until his clients became addicted and then exploited them.
He has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
